Pioneer of organic juice production in SwitzerlandBiotta AG was founded in 1957 and is based in Tägerwilen in the canton of Thurgau. As a pioneer in organic juice production, Biotta has been producing high-quality direct juices from organically grown fruit and vegetables for over 65 years. The company attaches great importance to sustainability and quality, which is reflected in the careful selection of raw materials and gentle processing. Biotta works closely with regional organic farmers to ensure short transport routes and fresh raw materials.
ENGAGEMENT.
100% Organic or Demeter: Since its foundation, Biotta has only used raw materials from organic or Demeter cultivation in order to guarantee the highest quality and sustainability.
Environmentally friendly energy: By using a modern wood chip heating system, Biotta reduces its CO₂ emissions by 2,500 tonnes per year and largely dispenses with fossil fuels.
Packaging made from recycled PET: Biotta is switching to 100% recycled PET, thereby reducing the use of virgin plastic. Plastic is also avoided wherever possible.
The fight against food waste: By supporting the "Often good for longer" campaign, Biotta is actively committed to combating food waste.
No granulated sugar: The juices contain only the natural sugar from fruit and vegetables; no additional granulated sugar is added.
100% Nature: Biotta products are free from artificial additives such as colourings, preservatives or flavourings and are made from 100% direct juice, not from re-diluted concentrate.

Biotta Lady Carrot
Biotta Lady Carrot is the first organic carrot lemonade from the Thurgau region. This innovative recipe combines 10.5% Swiss carrot juice with 6% mandarin juice and other natural organic ingredients. Lightly sweetened with agave syrup and without granulated sugar, Lady Carrot offers a refreshing flavour experience.
